MBLAQ's Mir becomes new MC for kid variety show 'Unbearable School 2'

 

MBLAQ's Mir just might be the next 'MC-dol' as he's now been picked up as the new host for the children's show 'Unbearable School 2' ('Helpless School 2')!

The original series started last year and became a popular kids variety show. It showed sticky, hilarious situations that kids got into and filed them under the keyword 'helpless' for a variety show both kids and adults could understand.


The new 'Unbearable School 2' on Tooniverse will be dealing with various things, such as real-life situation play, a romantic drama, and even a variety show. Celebrities who are popular with little kids will be invited each week, so they can go through missions to become the 'president' among children.

Mir will be working with Jewelry's Yewon from season 1. He said, "I'm honored to become an MC for the show because I've been watching the show's season 1 diligently. I get along well with MC-sunbae Yewon and the children, so I'm already looking forward to the next filming. I'm going to become as loved by the kids as Kwanghee was from Season 1. Please look forward to it."

Mir is also on the MC panel for 'Beatles Code 3D'.

Super Junior Release Their Travel Book 'Super Junior's Experience Korea News + Seoul'

 

Super Junior will do a show and tell of Korea with their travel book 'Super Junior's Experience Korea NEWS+Seoul'!

'Super Junior's Experience Korea NEWS+Seoul' is filled with stories and photos from Super Junior's journey across the country during the past year. For the travel book, Super Junior split into teams including Siwon and Donghae who visited Gangwondo, Kyuhyun and Yesung who traveled to the east to Gyeongsangdo, Shindong and Eunhyuk who traveled to the west to Choongchung and Jeollado, Leeteuk and Ryewook who went down to the south to Jeju Island, and Kangin and Sungmin who toured around Seoul. The boys will give a hands-on introduction of Korea by describing various aspects of their trips.

So make sure to pick up a copy when the book becomes available on the 16th!

SM Entertaiment Build a Museum at Koreantown, Los Angeles

SM Entertainment will spread the Hallyu wave by building an 'SMTOWN Museum' (working title) in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles!

The agency has long been in discussion about starting a place for locals of the States to experience K-pop first hand and previously had their eyes set on establishing the center in Hollywood, but decided to make its start in Koreatown, LA where many people already have an interest in K-pop. SM Entertainment's U.S. branch, SM Entertainment USA, has purchased a building on Oxford Ave. where the 'SMTOWN Museum' will likely be located.

SME stated, "The start of the 'SMTOWN Museum and Entertainment Space' in LA's Koreatown in the United States is the first step to opening the Hallyu wave's new future. 'SMTOWN Museum' will be a landmark where you can directly experience the various, excellent Hallyu content in the States, and it will further contribute to the spreading of the Hallyu wave. We also plan to showcase SM's new content through holograms and more."
